Dear Valued Patient Letter

October 4, 2024

Dear Valued Patient,

After careful consideration, I’ve made the difficult decision to leave my medical practice in San Francisco to pursue another opportunity that allows me to spend more time with my family. I’ll be transitioning to another practice based in Marin, in Petaluma, beginning November 1st, 2024. My last day in the office will be October 4, 2024. While this choice wasn’t easy, I’m confident it’s the right one for this stage in my life. It’s been an incredible privilege to care for you over the past 20+ years, and I’m deeply grateful for the relationships we’ve built.

I want to assure you that you will be in excellent hands with my physician partners, Drs. Huh, Yee, Grijalva, and Filler, whom I’ve worked alongside for over two decades and trust completely. They are exceptional doctors who will continue to provide you with the highest quality care.

Your medical records will remain securely in the practice. To ensure continuity of care, I recommend
scheduling any appointments after my last day with one of my colleagues. The office staff can assist you with any questions or concerns.

If you’d like to continue your care with me in Petaluma, I’ll be joining Prima Medical Group. The new building I’ll be working at is currently under construction and is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year. Until it’s ready, I’ll be working temporarily at either their Greenbrae or Novato office. You can call 415-461-7800 to schedule your appointment. Please confirm they accept your insurance prior to scheduling your appointment.

Please note that you will not need to transfer your medical records if you’re continuing care with me or any of my current partners as we are on the same electronic medical record.

Thank you for the trust you’ve placed in me as your physician. It’s been an honor to be part of your healthcare journey.

Warmest regards,
Bonni Massa, MD
